I am a Casual Lecturer and Research Affiliate at The University of Sydney.
I also work as the Academic Advisor in Respectful Relationships Education at the Department of Education NSW.
I have previously worked as a Research Fellow in the Institute for Communication in Healthcare at the Australian National University.
My Research
My research is in functional linguistics, educational linguistics and health communication. In particular, my expertise is in discourse analysis, evaluative language and corpus linguistics, with a focus on sex education, health and media. You can find a full list of my publications here.
